Around the world, environmental issues such as climate change, resource depletion and water shortages have emerged as critical issues. Governments around the world continue to tighten their environmental restrictions. In Korea, the construction industry was incorporated into the Greenhouse Gas Target Management System in 2014. The importance of reducing GHG emissions in the industry has become even more important. To cope with such circumstances, GS E&C has established a 30% reduction in GHG emissions as its environmental management strategy.
