GS E&C has set a 'Sustainable Global Company' as its Vision. It has worked out its sustainability management strategies through its Sustainability Management Committee and Sustainability Management TF with the aim of 'the Pursuit of Growth through the Creation of Sustainable Values with its Stakeholders.' The company has set its strategic directions and action plans in keeping with its key pillar for sustainability management - 'the Triple Bottom Line (Environmental, Economic and Social Impacts)' - for consistent implementation of its sustainability management strategies.

Implementing Organization and Activities
GS E&C operates the ESG Committee to review its ESG management activities while striving to effectively share the outcome with stakeholders. The ESG Committee is composed of four outside directors and one non-executive director operates the ESG Council and the ESG Task Force, in which various related departments participate. Those responsible for the implementation of ESG management at GS E&C include the headquarters, the domestic and overseas subsidiaries and branch, project sites, and affiliated companies.

- UN GLOBAL COMPACT
- On August 4, 2010, GS E&C joined UNGC, a voluntary corporate initiative that promotes and encourages corporate social responsibility. By complying with the 10 Principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, GS E&C takes part in the promotion of the global guidelines on corporate social responsibility, and reassures the global community of its strong commitment to pursuing ESG management.
GS E&C will continue to play a leading role in the promotion of the 10 Principles throughout the world. To that end, it will respect basic human and labor rights, strive to develop eco-friendly technologies and products as a response to the global environmental crisis, and intensify its preventive measures to eradicate corruption throughout its business practices.

- ISO 26000
- GS E&C wants to ensure it has a sustainable future by adhering to ISO 26000 set forth by International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It has designated and operates a task force focused on the seven core subjects and issues pertaining to social responsibility: Organizational governance, Human rights, Labor practices, The environment, Fair operating practices, etc. In addition, the company practices various social contribution programs for the development of the local community and protection of the environment. - The Carbon Disclosure Project is a global evaluation index that evaluates environmental management information such as response to environmental issues related to climate change, water resources, and forests, and greenhouse gas emissions. In 2023, GS E&C received Grade A- and plans to continue to strengthen its strategy to cope with climate change in line with the government's carbon neutrality.

- In 2023, GS E&C got Class B+ in the area of the governance and environmental responsibility and Class A in the area of the social responsibility, receiving the overall Class A evaluated by Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability.
